This Fir cutting board was crafted from a reclaimed vintage board that once was a part of a very old dock that was storm damaged and it washed ashore The unique characteristics of the face was so gorgeous we had to encase it in vegetable based resin to preserve it forever. The underside was left natural and oiled with an all natural Canadian Hemp oil for cutting or food prep.
Will make someone a wonderful heirloom board to accent their kitchen, use for Charcuterie or just an amazing conversation piece!
Majority of the cracks and open knots that add so much character were resin filled to make it easier to clean up when using.
