I made a mistake on my address when I ordered, what do I do?

Don't worry, just contact us with the correct address and order number, we'll make sure it gets sent to the proper address!

I’ve used my board for some time and have noticed a slight odour. Is there a way to get rid of this?

Yes, just spread some coarse salt on your board, cut a lemon in half and scrub it with that. Let sit for a few minutes, wash as normal and it should be fresh again. Repeat if necessary.

 Can I get a vegan board?

Yes we can craft and finish a vegan board for you. We will finish it with all natural hemp oil, buff it with our own Vegan Board Butter using Candelilla wax instead of beeswax and attach a natural cording for hanging.

Can we get you to refinish our heavily used cutting board?

Yes we can refinish your board for a nominal fee.

 Can I pick up my board locally and save the freight charges?

Yes you can! Please leave a message with your order and we will arrange pickup and refund your freight charges.

lt's too beautiful, how could I possibly cut on it?

We get asked this a lot, our answer is to cut on the backside only and keep your favourite side pristine!

 Can I cut on my Cedar charcuterie board?

It isn't advised to cut on a Cedar serving board as the wood is soft and it will mark very easily, it's best to cut on a hardwood cutting board then transfer it to the Cedar board for serving.

Can I have a message engraved on these items?

It is possible to have a message engraved in them but unfortunately *e are not set up at this time to do that for you.

 ls the paint you use on some boards or products, food safe?

While it cannot be labeled as food safe, it is safe to use as we only use paint with non-toxic ingredients, but if you wish to serve on the painted side, it is advised to put parchment paper or serving plates down first and then the food on them.

Is it possible to get blank wood slices in different sizes other than what is listed?

Yes it is possible, depending on the availability of wood types and sizes we have in stock. Please message us your special requests

Will you ship overseas?

We will on most items to select countries, please contact us it you don't see your country on the list and we'll see what we can do.

Do you ship to the USA?

Yes, we ship to the USA. However, you may need to contact us for a quote on shipping if it will be sent to Hawaii, Alaska, or Puerto Rico.

How do I wash my board?

Please refer to Product Care for board care instructions.

 How do I use the board butter?

Make sure the board is clean and dry, then simply scoop a little board butter on your finger and rub it into the board making sure you cover all areas of the board if it looks dry or only the dry areas if you wish. Let the board set overnight so that It can absorb the replenishing oils and waxes, then use a dry cloth (cotton is fine or microfiber), polish the board to a low sheen and it's ready for use.

ls the board butter food safe?

Our board butter is hand crafted by us using only organic, natural, and sustainably harvested ingredients which include local beeswax, coconut oil, and carnauba wax to produce a wonderful food safe finish.

How sharp are the wood knives?

Hardwood blades can be sharpened to a very fine edge but we usually stop short of making them very sharp as they only need to cut cake or soft cheese. They can still be quite sharp so use good judgement as with any knife and keep out of reach of children as they are not a toy.

How often do I need to wax my board?

Generally no more than once or twice a year. You'll only need to wax your board as required when you notice it is getting dry or fuzzy, depends a lot on how much you use and wash it. We blend in a little carnuba wax to our butter so you won't have to wax it as often.

What is wood burnishing?

Wood burnishing or "fire burnishing" is a process that is applied to sanded natural wood. The surface is subjected to the intense heat of a flame which scorches the wood without catching it on fire. Once it cools, the surface is once again sanded, touched up as required, sanded again then sealed with a high performance acrylic sealer.

Can I get a custom board made?

Yes, we can custom craft a board to your specs and wood species, please email us with your request.

Can the wood cake knives cut cheese?

The wood knives are designed as cake knives but you will have no problem cutting soft cheese with them.

What countries do you ship to?

We ship to ten countries right now, but feel free to message us and we will try our very best to ship to the country of your preference.

 Do you wholesale?

We do sell wholesale to qualified vendors with minimum volumes required, on a case by case basis and with select products. Remaining products would be available on a percentage off basis with minimum orders. Please email with enquiries.
